ITW Heartland announced a successful installation of equipment at Shanghai Automobile Gear Works in Shanghai, China. SAGW is a Chinese-owned automotive manufacturing company that produces transmissions for all the auto makers in China. ITW Heartland supplies highly automated and robotic gear analysis and gear burnishing equipment to support the production of transmissions.
An ITW Heartland field-service representative was on site for the installation and final acceptance to ensure all customer requirements were achieved. He trained SAGW personnel on equipment operation and maintenance requirements to ensure SAGW was prepared to maintain the gear equipment.
