ITW Heartland announced today the successful completion of a six-month surveillance audit for ISO:9001. ITW Heartland was originally registered as being compliant to ISO:9001 in April 2006 and successfully completed a re-registration audit in April 2009.
These six-month surveillance audits ensure that suppliers maintain a documented and effective quality system, in conformance with the quality system requirements. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) establishes specifications intended to ensure materials, procedures, processes, and services meet customer needs.
