ITW Hi-Cone is a world leader in providing multipack solutions to the food and beverage industry. When Bill Roe at Power Industrial Integration Company (PIICO), an electrical integration and engineering firm, needed to assemble wiring harnesses for a key client project, he looked no further than ITW Heartland. Mr. Roe had previous experience with the extensive manufacturing capabilities at ITW Heartland and knew the Strategic Assembly Solutions division could build sophisticated assemblies for his client.

PIICO designed an electrical harness to their customer’s specifications and brought the manufacturing requirements to ITW Heartland. The Strategic Assembly Solutions division provided the complete capability to serve PIICO. Project managers were assigned, a team assembled, and manufacturing tools and processes implemented to build the electrical sub-assemblies, and production continues today.
